1- Customer Service Officer, Inbound Call Center (Mashreq Global Network, Egypt)

Key Result Areas:

Interact with customers over the phone to understand their banking needs.

Provide excellent customer service to achieve customer loyalty.

Resolve problems over the telephone on the spot.

Convert sales opportunities in order to meet financial targets.

Clarify and explain procedures and products over the telephone.

Capture and report customer feedback towards continual product development.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

University Graduate (preferably with some finance / banking or maths component).

Bilingual.

1 – 3 years experience

Very customer focused

Computer literate

Excellent communication skills

Strong listening skills.

2- Senior Sales Manager Trade Finance - GTB

Job Purpose:

-A key role within the Global Trade & Structured Finance Sales proposition meant to position MB as a strong & relevant Trade finance partner for corporate clients in the IBG location. Accurate understanding of the bank's market positioning & client’s business needs, and effective structuring of WC finance solutions, is pivotal to success.

-It reinforces the sales drive by ensuring relevant products and robust structures, in line with the bank's global offering, are deliverable in the IBG location, and provides solid underpinning for managing the various risk aspects associated with working capital finance.

-Trade Sales proposition has to be aligned to the dynamics of the market/industry environment and the jobholder is expected to bring expertise to deliver a best practice experience, constructive challenges and professional integrity and assist in the drive to offer best in class finance solutions to the Trade and Structured Finance Unit.

-The role holder works directly with the central TSF sales to streamline Trade offerings for the relevant IBG location in efforts to generate & successfully convert a regional TSF pipeline.

Key Result Areas:

• Consistently exploits opportunities for further Trade Finance business. Identifies and builds on revenue opportunities by engaging with clients and internal stakeholders

• Delivers on agreed GTB revenue objectives

• Identifies customers’ profitability trends, benchmarking these to industry trends

• Preparation of special pricing, Trade Quotes in response to client’s request and Monitor transactional pricing to clients to ensure high profitability across trade products

• Acquisition/insourcing of new trade finance clients

• Work closely with Corporate Banking, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk partners to drive profitable and responsible growth

• Monitor and act according to the changes in CBE regulation, international Trade Regulations and Mashreq Regulations and polices

• Help customers to reach best products usage, transactional process as well as regulatory requirements

• Structuring transactions on a case by case requirement

• Monitoring client facility usage and pushing for higher utilization from the clients

• Champion proposed facilities internally by liaising with respective Coverage RMs/UMs & WRM.

• Validate and recommend credit proposals prior to submission for CRM/WRM or to a designated Deal Approval Committee, if applicable.

• Regularly review customer portfolio

• Ensure regular customer meeting and calls activity. Build and maintain sales pipeline, sales dashboard update, CRM call logging and other relevant reports.

• Active participation in coverage teams pipeline discussion meetings.

• Drive digitization for Trade transactions among customers and coverage teams.

• Maintain/develop regular contacts with other key players in the industry (Banks, Insurers, Collateral Managers, Free & Industrial Zones Authorities, et.al.)

• Promote cross-regional referrals and cross-regional transactions, when applicable. Promote team work and sharing best practice.

Qualification & Experience:

• Candidate should have prior direct Trade experience in a similar position and / or Operations, adequate knowledge of tech applications, platforms, operational processes activities and customer service

• Strong knowledge of Trade Finance products available in the market

• Strong selling and negotiation skills

• Basic Credit knowledge is an asset

• Preferably a working knowledge of all Operating systems in the Bank (CRM / Matrix / Flex etc.)

• Ability to understand technology related issues in keeping with the job demands necessary

• Excellent Interpersonal & Communication skills with ability to perform as a team player

• University degree with at least 5–7 years in Business, Operations or related area within GTB or banking

• Clear understanding of market dynamics and the ability to assess the market going forward

• A strong business and operational background or a clear understanding of how the back office operates

• Strong analytical, root cause analysis and problem solving skills
